Tucson Clay Co-op is a community-based pottery studio in Tucson offering a variety of pottery classes, children's classes, birthday, teen & Friday night pottery parties. We also have a clay gallery where pieces are available for purchase.
We
offer shared work space at affordable prices to co-op members and
studio renters, who enjoy the benefits of working in community.
All
our classes include free practice time. Classes range from beginner to
advanced. We offer classes in wheel throwing, hand-building, sculpture, paper clay, glazes, precious metal, mosaics and more. We have classes for adults and children, as well as for families working in clay together.
Our
mission is to make pottery accessible to everyone in the community. We
offer work-study and studio monitor positions to students who are low
on cash but want to learn all aspects of running a pottery studio.
